Questions
Do I need Cloudflare?
No. With Cloudflare you get the most: pages served from more than 300 cities and protection from traffic peaks. Without it, PWSpeed serves the same optimised static pages from your own hosting. The free Cloudflare plan is enough for most sites.
Does it replace WP Rocket and similar plugins?
Yes. PWSpeed covers page cache, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and database cleanup. When you activate it, it offers to switch off other cache plugins so they do not conflict.
Will forms, cart and checkout keep working?
Yes. Cart, checkout, account, search, logged-in users and any path you choose always reach WordPress live. Only public pages are served static.
Does it work with Yoast or Rank Math?
Yes. PWSpeed does not touch titles or meta tags. For structured data it only adds what your SEO plugin and theme leave out, and never duplicates it.
What happens if my license expires?
Your site keeps working with the free features. The Pro options switch off, your settings stay saved, and everything comes back when the license is active again.
What does Cloudflare cost?
The free plan is enough for most sites. Sites with many thousands of pages need Workers Paid, from $5 a month, paid to Cloudflare. PWSpeed tells you when you get close to the limits.
